Video of Talks

You can watch video of two recent talks that explain The Obama Moment argument all in a highly entertaining way using a multimedia slideshow. The talks make the analogy between the political period we are entering today and a few other times of explosive political innovation that the country has gone through. They explain the paradigm shift in politics that Obama and his team already have helped usher in, and lay out how a similar paradigm shift could be coming to the ideas business in Washington DC. And they have an inspirational ending about how Americans living today are fully capable of tackling our era's many challenges.

The video below is an earlier version (and a shorter one) of the European video featured on the front page. It comes from a 20-minute high-energy talk in the style of the famous TED conference, given in July at the TIDES Momentum conference, billed as a TED for Politics. This talk squeezes about as much information as possible minute by minute, and is a lot of fun.

This other video comes from a more relaxed private talk given to the staff of YouTube in Silicon Valley in the beginning of summer, but only being publicly released now. It is an hour long, which includes about 15 minutes of very interesting discussion about the ideas. Watch this one for the deeper dive.
